LinkedIn learning highlights (2025)

This is a simple record of the courses and certifications I shared publicly while building my career.

Thomas Hayford learning highlights
I learn to solve real business problems better, not to collect certificates for decoration.

In 2025, I shared multiple learning milestones on LinkedIn. Most of them focused on spatial analysis, software foundations, and mobile product understanding. My goal was practical: improve how I support businesses and communicate with technical teams.

  • Esri Spatial Data Science (6-week intensive)Completed and shared with a week-by-week breakdown of business use cases.
  • ArcGIS Pro Basics (Esri)Posted as a certification milestone.
  • Foundations of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)Course completion shared publicly.
  • QGIS Certification (Modern GIS)Completion shared publicly.
  • Get Started with Android App Development (SkillUp EdTech)Shared as a new certificate.
  • Introduction to Software Engineering (IBM)Shared as a new certificate.
  • Introduction to Mobile App Development (IBM)Shared as a new certificate.

The most important outcome is not the badge itself. It is the ability to ask better questions, understand systems faster, and help business teams make clearer decisions.
